TCA Atlanta Volleyball
Message From TCA Founder – Neil Mason
Welcome to the 2010/2011 volleyball season. We are so excited as we anticipate a great season in Atlanta.
The main goal of TCA is simple and can be summarized in five words: Player development for ALL players. I am committed to making sure that your players improve so that they can make their middle school and high school teams.
This year TCA will provide many different opportunities for our athletes to improve their play and take their game to the next level. In addition to the high level training that they will receive during the club season with their teams, we will be making a push for our players to take advantage of additional training to fit their needs year round.
We will be offering private training, and small group training led by John Ross, or “J.R.” We have a renewed energy and focus in the gym to continue to expand and develop our TCA athletes.
We will be implementing the proven system-wide training methods that our Atlanta families have come to expect.
These training methods mirror those of the best players in the world. We will be refocusing on the 4-step approach, jump serving, swing blocking, and aggressive play using proven offensive and defensive systems.
Another important goal this year will be to improve communication between players, staff, and parents. I realize that you are our customers and my team of staff members stands ready to serve you.
Finally, I know how important goal setting is for your children. Goal setting is pivotal in developing the complete athlete on and off the court.
This year I will insure that all coaches implement the Blueprint of a Champion goal setting techniques that have been successfully implemented nationwide.
Of course, for our older players, I want to make sure that my team of staff and coaches help your family prepare your player to take their game to the next level.
All of us are excited as we celebrate recent college commitments in Atlanta and throughout the nation. I take great pride in knowing that hundreds of our players are in college programs today, many with athletic scholarships.
I am delighted, enthused and much honored that you have selected us as a possible option for your player’s volleyball training. I look forward to watching the continued progress of our players and I hope to see you soon.
At this time, we would also like to introduce some of the key members of our leadership team to all of you.
Most of them are very familiar to both TCA Atlanta for the past few years.
We also have a new addition John Ross (JR) who will serve as our lead coach and oversee coach and player development. You can find out more about them by reading the September issue of our TCA Atlanta Newsletter.
This current leadership team will include our new coaching training director John Ross (15 year college coach link).
John will be working hand in hand with Steve Goldin (4th year with TCA), Trish Kazak (5th year with TCA), Casey Brothers (3rd year with TCA), Michael Reid (2nd year with) TCA and Chris Stoner (2nd year with TCA).
Please check back to www.tcaatlanta.com for a current and updated list of our coaching staff for the 2011 season.
Thanks to all for your continued support!…….. GO TCA!
