Courtney Rose

My volleyball career began in California.  In high school, I played for the Menlo Knights and our team went to the state finals four years in a row. I also played for City Beach and Vision Volleyball clubs during high school.

I came to Atlanta to attend Emory University. During my solphmore year at Emory, I earned  third team All American honors. During my junior year, I was named the Division III National Player of the Year. My team was ranked #1 in the country for 7 weeks during my junior year season. Unfortunately, a knee injury forced me to sit on the bench my senior year.
While at Emory, my concentration was in the area of psychology. After Emory, I attended Georgia State, where I received my master’s degree in Special Education. I am now teaching in Gwinnett County. I am very excited to be getting back involved in the sport of volleyball.
